Roadworks and diversions affecting Go North East buses

Service 11 at Ravensworth Road in Dunston from 14 January until 8 February

Due to utility works at the new housing development site from Monday 14 January for 4 weeks, the northbound lay-by stop 14140, just before the zebra crossing will be suspended due to a lane closure at this point.

A temporary stop will be in place further north and there will be temporary traffic signals in place throughout. Minor delays expected.

Service 11 at Willington Quay and Howdon Lane on 21 January

Due to resurfacing of Bewicke Road and Clavering Street between 6pm and 11.59pm on Monday 21 January, service 11 will be unable to serve Willington Quay or Howdon Lane and will be diverted between East Howdon and Howdon Chippy via A187 East Howdon roundabout, A187 Howdon by-pass, High Flatworth and Tynemouth Road in both directions.

Service 27 at Tyne Dock from 21 until 25 January

Jarrow Road and Newcastle Road will be closed overnight each night from 8pm and 6am on the nights of Monday 21 to Friday 25 January.

During these times, service 27 will be unable to serve stops on Church Bank, Straker Street, Jarrow Road, Bede Industrial Estate, or Western Approach. Please use stops at Curlew Road near to Sea Cadets centre, or Tyne Dock (Navigation House).

Services 206, X5 and X6 at Blackhall Colliery from 23 January until 1 February

Resurfacing works will take place off-peak on the Coast Road at Blackhall Colliery between Wednesday 23 January and Friday 1 February under temporary traffic signals between 9.30am and 3.30pm each day.

Minor delays are expected during these times.
