Beat the traffic during Heworth roundabout roadworks

There will be works at Heworth roundabout from Sunday 28 January, which are expected to last 30 weeks - our buses will be the only vehicles with direct access across Heworth, so you can beat the traffic if you travel with us!

Services run up to every 10 minutes and most come with free WiFi so you can sit back, relax and let us do the driving for you. Download the new Go North East app and you will be on your way in no time at all.

From 4pm on Sunday 28 January for around 30 weeks

  • Buses will run normal routes in and out of Heworth Interchange.
  • Buses will be allowed access to Heworth junction, whereas other traffic will be diverted via the A194 Leam Lane and A184 Felling bypass.
  • Delays are possible as buses will need to wait to enter the junction, but our buses are the only vehicles to have direct access across Heworth, so you can beat the traffic if you travel with us.

Due to the works, from Wednesday 7 February, the bus stop at Pelaw Social Club at Felling bypass will be suspended until further notice. Please use Heworth Interchange or the next stop at Coniston Road.
