Children at Lingey House Primary School in Gateshead were in for a big surprise on Monday when they welcomed a very special new addition to their playground – a double-decker bus donated by Go North East.

Go North East has announced the appointment of Simon Carlisle as its new Engineering Director. Simon brings extensive experience to the role, having most recently served for seven years as Engineering Director for First West Yorkshire.
