Simply Red are back and celebrating over 30 years in the music industry with a spectacular anniversary tour. One of the biggest and most iconic bands in the world will be performing at the Emirates Riverside, home of Durham County Cricket Club on Friday 3 June.

Mick Hucknall’s spectacular voice will be singing some of their greatest hits, including Angel, which isn’t about our frequent bus route from Durham to Newcastle!

Getting to the show is easy with us as our 36 & 78/78A buses stop at Durham County Cricket Club and our 21/X21 buses are only a short walk away from the Black Horse stop in Chester-le-Street. So why not join us for a great night out under the Stars and if Money’s Too Tight To Mention our Chester-le-Street daysaver will cost you just £3.50 or for £6 you can travel all day on our Castles Express or Angel buses.

  • Angel 21 departs from Chester-le-Street (opposite Black Horse) at 10.25pm, 10.57pm or 11.27pm (with additional capacity on the 22.57 journey).
