From Monday 25 July, Go North East will be coming to Quorum Business Park with a new 554 route which will link Newcastle City Centre, Regent Centre Interchange, DWP at Longbenton, Four Lane Ends Interchange and Benton Lane for Quorum Business Park.

Buses will leave Regent Centre Interchange at 7.25am and 8.25am, running via Four Lane Ends Interchange at 7.40am and 8.40am – ideal for 8am and 9am starts at either Balliol or Quorum Business Park. The 7.25am journey from Regent Centre will start in Haymarket Bus Station at 7.15am and run via Gosforth High Street.

After work, buses leave Benton Lane at 4.20pm and 5.20pm for Four Lane Ends and Regent Centre, with the 5.20pm journey continuing to Haymarket Bus Station.

Single fares start from just 60p Four Lane Ends to Benton Lane, with a return costing just £1 and that price is open to anyone. A single from Regent Centre is £1.50 or £2.10 from Newcastle City Centre. Go North East Buzzfare and Network One Travel tickets are also valid in the appropriate zones.

Mark Ellis, Development Manager for Go North East said “we’re really pleased to be stepping in to run the 554 from the 25 July. We appreciate that the route provides important links to employment sites like the DWP at Longbenton as well as Balliol and Quorum Business Parks from key transport interchanges at Haymarket Bus Station, Regent Centre and Four Lane Ends. With fares of only £1 return from Four Lane Ends to Balliol or Quorum, we’re offering customers a great value price and we look forward to welcoming them on board.”
