Changes to Coaster 1 and Cobalt Connect 19 from 20 March

Coaster 1

There will be a small number of changes to some early morning weekday journeys:

The journey departing Gateshead at 6am will terminate at North Shields. The journey from Whitley Bay Oxford Street at 7.07am will now start from North Shields Northumberland Square at 7.28am.

Cobalt Connect 19

In March 2015, we worked with Northumberland County Council to have extra morning and evening journeys. Unfortunately, the number of passengers travelling on these journeys has been below our expectations, so most of these journeys will be withdrawn from 20 March 2016.

Cobalt Connect 19 continues to run between Cobalt, Cramlington and Ashington every 60 minutes on Monday-Saturday daytimes, with the service between Northumberland Park, Cobalt and North Shields continuing to run every 30 minutes.
