Newcastle International Film Festival - 29 March until 1 April

The Newcastle International Film Festival is a new four day event taking place across venues throughout Newcastle between 29 March and 1 April.

With films from all genres from around the world being showcased, the inaugural Newcastle Film Festival will be a truly international celebration of film.

It will include several world premieres, classics featuring cast and crew, new films from all genres of movies and much more.


Getting around

The best way to get around the attractions of Newcastle Film Festival is to hop on and off our frequent, accessible and easy to use Quaylink buses.

As well as Quaylink, we also run a wide range of frequent services to the heart of Newcastle from across region.

We've got two pairs of Multi Pass tickets up for grabs, which will give you access to 6 shortlisted film screenings! Competition closes at 11.59pm on Monday 26 March. 

Multi Pass ticket validity

  • A Multi Pass allows entry to 6 shortlisted film screenings from Friday 30 March until Sunday 1 April.
  • Does not include access to special events (e.g. Opening Ceremony, Premieres, Closing Ceremony) or Industry specific events (e.g. Masterclasses, Industry Networkers).
