Go North East celebrates Global Community Engagement Day

Today is Global Community Engagement Day and Go North East, the region’s largest bus company, is celebrating by hosting a live Q&A with Martijn Gilbert, the company’s managing director.

The live Q&A session is taking place today at 2pm on Go North East’s Facebook page.

As part of Global Community Engagement Day, Go North East is also celebrating the day by looking back at everything they have done over the last 12 months with a fantastic video.

Everything from keeping people moving throughout the pandemic, to the incredible fundraising efforts from their team members, and everything else in between.

Martijn Gilbert, managing director at Go North East, said: “It’s great that we’re able to celebrate the hard work from our team members over the last year and I look forward to answering your questions later today.

“We know it’s been an incredibly tough year for a lot of people, so we hope our initiatives and activities have helped put smiles on faces.

“Thank you to all our colleagues for their dedication and to everyone in the communities we serve for your continued support.”
