The bus will be trialled on the service for one week from Monday 28 February, serving Brandon, Durham, Arnison Centre, Chester-le-Street, Birtley, Low Fell, Gateshead and Newcastle.
On Thursday 24 February, between 10am and 2pm, you’ll be able to pop along to Park Lane in Sunderland, where teams from the region’s bus companies will be on hand to have a chat about being a bus driver, and guide you through the application process.
Thanks to our ongoing recruitment efforts, we’re happy to confirm that services that have been running to temporary timetables over the last month or so will return to normal from Saturday 19 February.
