The region's largest bus operator Go North East will be deploying extra buses during the week-long strike planned by drivers at the Arriva bus company from 6th - 12th January which will affect Arriva’s services operating in Durham and Teesside.

X84 and X85 during Masters Golf Event at Heddon
From Wednesday 27 September until Sunday 1 October the B6528 Hexham Road will be affected by this event.
During this time temporary stops will be allocated near the Shell service station as normal stops will be suspended.
Special buses for the British Masters at Close House
Services 8, 34/34A and 78/78A.
for up to 6 weeks, with temporary stop in place.

From 8.30am on 13 September until late afternoon on Friday 15 September.
