Go North East, the region's largest bus company, will be taking to the streets tomorrow (19 July) to launch their new simplified zones and tickets which come into effect on Sunday 21 July as part of its annual review of fares.
The new hop-on hop-off city tour bus will run every weekend from Saturday 29 June until Saturday 20 July, and then run every day during the summer holidays.
Go North East, the region’s largest bus company, is celebrating Clean Air Day with the announcement of a £12 million investment in 54 high-specification environmentally friendly buses to help revolutionise bus travel across the region.
On Sunday 23 June, between 10am and 2pm, the company will be holding a recruitment open day at intu Metrocentre Coach Park, giving any aspiring drivers the chance to get behind the wheel and test drive a bus.
